Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) is to hold a series of stakeholder engagement events over the coming weeks across its central southern England distribution patch.
As a distribution network operator, SSEN is part of the most fundamental shake-up of the industry in recent memory; with electric vehicles, small scale renewable generation, new energy storage technologies and changing consumer behaviour all instrumental in how we'll face the future.
Listening to its customers and stakeholders is key to helping SSEN understand what its electricity networks might look like in the decades to come and what it needs to do to continue to meet the needs and expectations of customers and stakeholders.
With this in mind, four stakeholder events will be held in SSEN's central southern England distribution area, which serves over three million customers.
The sessions will expand on topics including Safety, Connections, Reliability, Environment, Innovation and Customer Service with presentations and discussions on how SSEN is investing in the low carbon economy, supporting customers in vulnerable situations, and shaping the future and next price control.
