Please note that this scheme is for undergrounding sections of the Distribution network; i.e. the 33kV/11kV/LV Overhead Line network that is typically constructed using wooden poles.

This scheme does not cover undergrounding the Transmission network; i.e. the 400kV/275kV/132kV Overhead network that is typically constructed using steel pylons.
