The distribution network transports electricity from substations to local homes and businesses. It plays a crucial role in integrating renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind, into the grid.
The programme will help to ensure a network capable of withstanding future demands and challenges while paving the way for a cleaner, greener energy system.
